When we are aware of our mortality
Will it be like the final curtain
In a tragic play?
When all who have died are reunited
With the living?
When those we have wronged take center stage
And bow to a crowd on their feet
And those we have loved
Take our hands
In simple delight
Will it seem we have lived for nothing?
When we see all out victories and defeat’s swept aside
With the rising of that final curtain
Do they that have died stand waiting
Just outside of view
Waiting for the moment th
GuidanceIf an angel were to touchGuidance
One so ordinary
Would I feel his fingertips
Or just the breeze against my face?
We long for heavenly guidance
And cower when it comes,
Hide our face in the shadows
Of our misdeeds.
If angels walked among us, like mortal man
What must they think?
We walk alone, talk alone;
Bear no contact with others.
We yearn to be taught,
And shun He that teaches.
We delight in darkness
And shudder when the sun rises in the sky.
If an angel were to touch
One so ordinary,
